ABOUT BEENA RAVI

Beena Ravi is a Manager, Advisory and Consulting Services at Diligent Canada Inc. Drawing on more than 10+ years of progressive experience in risk advisory, management consulting, project management, strategy and technology advisory, Beena helps clients leverage technology in a way that allows them to better manage their business and technology decisions. Currently, Beena leads the implementation of Diligent’s GRC software for clients across North America. Using her experience across different industries, Beena helps organizations improve their internal processes. She is involved in comprehensive understanding of ‘as-is’ processes, identifying areas of control weaknesses/improvements, benchmarking against industry best practices and recommending practical mitigation strategies to clients based on findings. She understands client problems through a root cause analysis approach, identifies underlying business issues and supports organizations to make effective decisions. Beena has managed project teams and stakeholders in Canada, USA and India. She helps clients identify process/technology gaps and inefficiencies, and providing actionable plans to increase organizational efficiency. Beena is familiar with the project management body of knowledge (PMBoK) and best practices in project management. She has been instrumental in providing project management support (waterfall, agile or hybrid) and change management support to clients. She is experienced in conducting IT audits, SOC attestations, internal audits, process re-engineering, process improvement reviews, testing & designing of functions, SOX compliance testing and Enterprise Risk Management services.She has worked extensively on process reviews of areas like HR & Payroll, Facilities, Procurement, Operating expenses and Statutory Compliances across different industries like manufacturing, financial services, e-commerce, IT/ITes, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
