ABOUT BEEMNET YIMAM
Hello, my name is Beemnet Yimam and I am currently a junior at the University of Washington, where I am pursuing a degree in computer science. My passion for technology and problem-solving has led me to focus on software engineering and information science, and I am excited to continue exploring these areas as I progress through my studies. Outside of my academic pursuits, I am also an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers, where I currently serve as the Program Chair. In this role, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with my peers on a range of initiatives, from organizing workshops and events to providing mentorship and support to underrepresented students in STEM.
