Patrick Beeman, a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, is based in Chicago. Patrick has broad experience in client services, including 20 years of operational management, business development, engagement management, and technical consulting across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sets, systems, and infrastructure. Specifically, he has expertise in: detailed data mining, analysis, and visualization; review, comparison, and performance improvement of existing data systems; electronic discovery; data privacy and security; and the creation of customized technology solutions in the form of applications and tools. He has also historically led the creation, management, and business development of data analytics practices. Patrick possesses a distinguished record of advising multinational broker-dealers through complex regulatory inquiries and litigation, both domestically and internationally. His proficiencies include an array of specialized areas such as insider trading, a spectrum of sales and trading across equities, derivatives and fixed income, as well as electronic and algorithmic trading systems. He has led high-profile internal investigations and designed models that spotlight potential market abuses and insider trading risks, ensuring surveillance integrity. His expertise extends to in-depth data mining, where he adeptly navigates through vast trading and transactional systems to uncover and interpret crucial fact patterns.Before rejoining FTI, he was the CIO/Senior Vice President of OmniVere LLC, a litigation support/e-discovery company. Previously, he was part of Navigant’s Technology Solutions practice in the Disputes & Investigations segment. In addition, Patrick is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.Patrick received his undergraduate degree in 2006, majoring in Accounting, Finance, and Business Economics & Public Policy (BEPP) from the Kelley School of Business, with a minor in Political Science from the College of Arts and Sciences. While pursuing his triple major and minor, he was Deputy Director of the Department of Student Rights in the IU Student Government. In 2021 he received the Kelley School of Business Alumni Association Volunteer Leadership Award. Patrick and his wife, Kelly, live in the Chicago suburb of La Grange with their daughter, Sydney, and son, Nolan.
