Proudly serving NYC Public Schools as a Sustainability Specialist in the Office of Energy & Sustainability. Our team works with schools, city agencies and CBOs to transform the largest school system in the country into catalysts for climate action, meaningful learning experiences, and long-term culture change. I support 5 school districts in the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn while co-leading our Equity & Inclusion Team — follow along on Instagram @nycschoolsustainability!Grateful to have spent 3.5 years with a team at UW Bothell working to shift their Outdoor Program from a focus of \'adventure\' to one centered around wellness, inclusion and access for connecting with nature - inside & out - while collaborating with campus and community partners to broaden engagement.Over 5 years of leadership in full-cycle project management, community engagement, strategic communications and outdoor education - from technical recreation skills to biodiversity and sustainability.

   Proudly serving NYC Public Schools as a Sustainability Specialist in the Office of Energy & Sustainability. Our team works with schools, local orgs and non-profits to transform the largest school system in the country into a catalyst for climate action, meaningful learning experiences, and long-term culture change. Our office\'s energy-realm taps into the potential of public school buildings by focusing on emissions reductions through facilities upgrades, solar installations, and efficiency training. Alongside this, our team of Sustainability Specialists focus on on-the-ground education and engagement, while supporting waste operations with the new curbside compost program, student green teams, grant opportunities, and indoor/outdoor green spaces as vital parts of nurturing meaningful learning, local action, and sustainable cultures. Primary stakeholders I work with are Custodial and Kitchen staff, school district leads, teachers and Principals, students, Department of Sanitation, and local organizations with engagement opportunities for public schools. Proud to co-lead our Equity & Inclusion Team and are currently collaborating with the Mayors Office of Climate & Environmental Justice and other agencies as part of the recent EJ NYC Initiative.I also manage our social media accounts!
