Managing the Engineering team and assisting with design ideas, materials selection and project planning. Managing existing and sustaining design elements for the seals products. Responsibilities include:• Providing leadership and guidance to the Engineering team, managing the department budget, ensuring departmental conformance to ISO requirements, developing training programs for the engineering group, and participating in business planning activities. • Working with international Saint-Gobain PPL locations on the standardization of product designs and systems. • Providing customer support to internal sales personnel and other functional areas in regards to facility Project Action Requests (PARs).• Working closely with R&D (both local and global activities) and ensuring that the latest technology evolutions (in terms of products and tools) are integrated in design engineering. • Assuring design and configuration control management through existing systems and software.
