I am an intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and traffic engineer at AtkinsRéalis with extensive experience in traffic operations, roadway safety analysis, and emerging transportation technologies. I have/am supporting major initiatives for NJDOT, NJTPA, NJTA, and the MTA, contributing to ITS device design, OpenRoads‑based topographic layouts, electrical analysis, pedestrian lighting evaluations, and automated enforcement technology assessments. My work applies national safety and design standards, including the HSM, MUTCD, AASHTO, and the Safe System Approach, to deliver data‑driven, evidence‑based roadway improvements. Prior to joining AtkinsRéalis, I conducted multi‑year research at Wayne State University for funded projects from Michigan DOT (MDOT) and the City of Detroit, focusing on crash heterogeneity, surrogate safety measures, ATSPM‑based performance evaluations, and connected vehicle applications. I have also authored multiple peer‑reviewed publications and presented at national conferences including TRB and ITE. My technical expertise includes OpenRoads, MicroStation, ArcGIS Pro, Synchro, RAD-IT, Python, R, Stata, and advanced safety analytics. I have also contributed to the professional community through volunteering and peer‑review activities, including reviewing research papers for Transportation Research Record (TRR) and Accident Analysis & Prevention (AAP), participating in TRB committee networks, and serving in leadership roles in Student Chapter and Associations. These activities have always motivated me to stay committed to advancing transportation safety, research quality, and professional collaboration across the industry.
