ABOUT BECKY TUCKER

I founded House of Risk because I\'d spent over 15 years inside organisations — as Head of Risk, then Director of Risk — watching risk management become something that happened to boards rather than something that helped them. My work now is about changing that. I work with housing associations, universities and public sector organisations to build risk and assurance frameworks that are practical, meaningful and genuinely useful to the people who rely on them. Having sat in the seat myself, I understand what boards need to feel assured, what executive teams need to make confident decisions, and what the Regulator of Social Housing expects to see. That insider perspective is something a large consultancy simply can\'t replicate. What I do: — Enterprise Risk Management frameworks — Risk appetite development and board facilitation — Assurance frameworks and Three Lines of Defence — Risk maturity assessments — Risk culture and leadership development I also serve as a Non-Executive Director and Audit & Assurance Committee member, which keeps my governance experience live and current. If your board is asking whether your risks are properly understood and managed — that\'s exactly the conversation I\'d like to have.
