Hi! I am Becky Shermis and feel very privileged to have worked in careers where I have been able to help others be successful. Starting as school teacher and principal, to an HR executive, to a university leader and corporate executive, I have learned that what I love most is coaching others to find their passions and explore their own transformational and leadership talents and pathways. I am also fortunate to work with a very talented and dedicated Board and Staff for a nonprofit organization, Summerhouse, in Houston, TX which supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). When IDD students graduate from high school or turn 22, many age out of their support systems and services end; therefore, their possibilities for community engagement are few.
