My background in construction began as an owner-operator, building and running two companies focused on residential remodeling and large-scale commercial solar projects.After several years working directly in the field and advising on construction-related projects, I transitioned into my current role with The Home Depot, where I partner with residential/ multi-family builders, remodelers, and real estate investors across Colorado and the US to help ensure projects run smoothly from planning through completion.In my role, I support contractors in sourcing and coordinating the materials required to move projects forward efficiently — helping them manage timelines, control costs, and avoid the disruptions that can occur when critical materials aren’t available at the right time.Over the years, working alongside builders has given me a deep appreciation for how complex construction really is. A successful project requires far more than skilled labor — it requires clear planning, coordination between trades, well-timed deliveries, and careful management of budgets and schedules.The builders who consistently succeed tend to approach construction as a system. They plan ahead, stay organized, and make thoughtful decisions about materials and logistics throughout the life of a project.I enjoy working with professionals who take pride in their craft and care deeply about delivering quality work for their clients and communities.I’m particularly interested in the ways better planning systems and smarter tools can help reduce friction in construction and make projects more predictable, efficient, and profitable for the builders who run them.
