   Lead a team of 3 members: AP Manager, AR Manager, & Senior Accountant. Oversee all accounting functions at Downlite. Including the monthly closing process, fixed asset accounting, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, and financial statement review.System Experience in SyteLine, Concur, PowerBI, and Microsoft Business Central. Strong excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc. Act as the main liaison for financial statement audits, inventory appraisals, sales tax audits, & bank audits.Accounting lead for new ERP Microsoft Business Central (BC). Went live in June 2025.Prior to go live – Created “dimensions” to maximize analysis. Designed all posting groups for inventory, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Bank Accounts which drives the accounts items are coded to for all transactions. Worked directly with consultants to understand all day-to-day functions for accounting team. Created over 80 different training guides.Weekend go live – Converted and uploaded all accounting items to the new system (650 Open AP lines, 70 Open Checks, 19,284 Open AR lines, 420 Fixed Assets, and 118 General Ledger lines for opening balances). Post Go live - Created all bank required financial statements. Including combining prior system data with new system data. Streamlined AR posting in new system. New Banking relationship established May 2025. Point person for all due diligence, training Downlite team on the new banking website, and customer conversion on AP and AR side.Maintain Standard Costs for purchased and manufactured items. Including inventory cost rolls, BOM review, updating costs on Jobs (production orders), and work center hour/overhead review.Adopted ASC 842 in 2022 for capitalization of operating leases. Created multiple profitability analysis files covering the 3 largest E-commerce customers. For the largest E-commerce customer there was over a 24% increase in gross margin after reports were implemented.
