Respected climate and environmental strategist, policy expert, and leader. Recently completed 4 years as Senior Climate Advisor to Governor Jay Inslee of Washington, leading policy, budget, and coalition work on this priority issue for the Governor. Previously, worked over 25 years in environmental and climate policy, politics, advocacy, and organizational leadership at Washington Environmental Council/Washington Conservation Voters.My passion is advancing climate and environmental solutions that integrate social and economic justice and support healthy communities. Supporting the work of the Northwest Energy Coalition on Washington Governor Ferguson’s data center work group and subsequent policy advocacy. Researching data centers’ impacts on the electric grid, affordability, natural resources, and tribal rights, and opportunities for partnership on grid decarbonization, reliability, and community benefits. Collaborating with public interest organizations and Yakama Nation, state agencies, Governor’s Office staff, and others on solutions. Facilitating discussion with advocates, state staff, and legislators of policy for the 2026 session.
