ABOUT BECKY HOGG

A Mechanical Design Engineer, working in the Aerospace department at Druck, designing, developing and testing pressure sensors for aircraft. Alongside being a footballer for Loughborough Lightning Women! Graduate First Class with Honors and DIS Mechanical Engineer (MEng) from Loughborough University. I completed a year\'s placement in 2018/19 at Siemens Digital Factory, Congleton; with a goal of becoming a Chartered Engineer and helping improve people\'s lives. Winner of the 2018 Sir William Siemens Mindsphere Live Challenge.Professional footballer for Coventry United in the FA Women\'s Championship in the 2021/2022 season, reaching the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup!Winner of the 2017/18 FA Women\'s Premier Midlands Division 1 with Loughborough Foxes, remaining unbeaten. Loughborough Foxes top goal scorer in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. 2017 winner of the IET Engineering Horizons Bursary, supported by Siemens and current member of the IET.Completed a summer placement in 2017; developing a remote controlled flying ornithopter at Loughborough University.In 2016 I was runner up in the Exciting Engineering competition at Loughborough University and I\'m a former Adidas miCoach ambasador! In 2015 I took part in a summer school at the Imperial College London doing Bio-Engineering. During this time I worked in an electronics lab, making a digital stethoscope. I learnt the basics of an Arduino, C coding, how to set up a circuit using a bread board and was also shown the very basics of Matlab.Completed the Engineering Education Scheme in 2015, gaining a Gold Crest and EES award and had work experience with Caterpillar following this.I Won the 2015 FA Women\'s Super League Development Cup with Birmingham City Ladies. LRS Go Gold athlete. I have a Level 2 Sports Leader qualification and won the 2014 North West Leicestershire Young Coach of the year award.
