In my role as Technology Leader, I was accountable for a wide range of critical management and operational tasks. My responsibilities included overseeing incident management, ensuring timely approvals of timecards, and spearheading the hiring process to secure top talent for our team.Additionally, I played a key role in vendor management, skillfully navigating annual software renewals and managing our budget with precision. My duties also extended to resolving interpersonal disputes, fostering a positive team environment, and bolstering team morale.I’ve had the privilege of leading a dynamic team of both onshore and offshore developers, focusing on the content management system Sitecore. We managed cloud subscriptions that support Humana\'s top-tier applications, including MyHumana, Humana.com, and Provider Finder. Our team was responsible for supporting releases, addressing support requests, and continually enhancing the resiliency of our platforms. We also developed automations to increase the efficiency of our operations.Over the past two years, I spearheaded the decommissioning of Sitecore on both on-premises platforms, encompassing over 100 servers with an annual cost of $2.7M, and Azure platforms, involving both production and non-production subscriptions valued at $7M. This critical project, which had visibility up to our Chief Information Officer, necessitated extensive collaboration with numerous enterprise shared service teams and 47 application teams. I\'m proud to note that we completed this significant endeavor both on time and under budget.In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I served as the Agile Coach for the department, coaching three scrum masters on agile practices, conflict resolution, fostering psychological safety, and maintaining a customer-centric focus. My role included conducting quarterly coaching reviews and establishing a thriving Scrum Master Community of Practice.
