I manage policy and operations for shared bikes, scooters, and cars, currently operated by private companies, permitted by the City, and open for membership to the general public. Some things I work on include:• Continuously evaluating shared mobility programs, including a published evaluation of the scooter program\'s pilot year, briefing city council committee and modal boards.• Strategic planning for the future of shared mobility in Seattle and the roles and responsibilities in a public-private partnership model• Developing application and permit conditions for scooter share program and bike share program• Leading the car share program, including: setting permit terms and drafting legislation; maintaining relationships with providers; and coordinating with the curbspace team on car share parking needs• Working with transit partners to establish and promote shared mobility as a way to access our high-capacity transit system• Regularly coordinate and maintain relationships with our private shared mobility providers• Supervise a small team to deliver on outreach and community engagement, helmet distribution, device parking auditing• Collaborate with teams such as Vision Zero, Bike Master Plan, Community Access and Parking Program, and Transit Service and Strategy, to work toward a seamless, safer system for all travelers• Collaborate across divisions through opportunities like the Transportation Equity IDT, Vision Zero IDT, RSJ Change Team, and more
