I support Montana’s hospitals and caregivers in their mission to improve quality, reduce costs, expand access, and achieve better outcomes for the communities they serve.As Vice President of Shared Services at the Montana Hospital Association, I lead MHA Ventures, the Association’s for-profit subsidiary focused on collaborative purchasing, endorsed partner programs, insurance and risk solutions, and other shared-service strategies that strengthen the financial sustainability of Montana hospitals—especially rural and critical access facilities.Before joining MHA, my career spanned public service, economic development, and business leadership with a consistent focus on strengthening complex, community-serving organizations. I’ve served as Administrator and Bureau Chief at the Montana Department of Commerce, Mayor of Bozeman, and President of the Northern Rocky Mountain Economic Development District, while also leading data analytics and research efforts, managing a manufacturing business, advancing community development finance at MoFi, and overseeing statewide programs supporting workforce, capital investment, and organizational sustainability. These roles provided a strong foundation for supporting hospitals and healthcare systems navigating financial, operational, and access challenges across Montana.I hold degrees and certifications from Denison University, Leadership Montana, UC Berkeley’s Executive Leadership Program (BEXL), and the National Development Council’s Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) program, and I am a licensed insurance producer.I’ve served on numerous public and private boards, including the Montana Manufacturing Extension Center (MMEC), TechLink, and Intrepid Credit Union. Appointed a Montana Ambassador by the Governor, I’m passionate about strengthening Montana’s healthcare system, economy, and communities— and about sharing why Montana is a great place to live, work, and do business.
