ABOUT BECK LONG
I’m a clean energy professional experienced in leading workforce development initiatives, managing complex programs, and building successful partnerships. My work centers on creating collaborative solutions that connect companies, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to strengthen clean energy career pathways and advance the energy transition. At the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), I led national solar workforce initiatives, funded by the U.S. Departments of Labor and Energy. I connected companies with transitioning military veterans, supported hundreds of new apprentices, and helped solar employers navigate new prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements tied to federal clean energy tax credits. Across my career, I’ve combined program strategy and hands-on project management to coordinate multi-stakeholder events, design apprenticeship frameworks, and manage grant-funded programs. I’m passionate about expanding access to clean energy careers and working collaboratively to advance the energy transition.
