About John Beck
As a retired federal law enforcement professional, I was involved in a multitude of assignments surrounding the protection of critical assets and logistical matters related to safety, security, and mobility of world leaders – both domestically and abroad. The foundation of my career is built upon intelligence-driven, risk-based planning objectives and security solutions. I have a history of developing and overseeing the implementation of strategic plans / tactics for protective operations within a complex, mission-driven environment. My training is comprehensive and firmly rooted in compliance and ethical standards to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission. With expert skills in developing security assessments, facility description reports, event assessments, and site vulnerability assessments, I routinely conduct threat awareness briefings and provide threat and vulnerability assessments for special events taking place throughout the New York City region. Additionally, I have a deep understanding of both the technical and administrative aspects of investigations with much of my investigative work centering on sensitive and complex security cases for targeted violence, financial crimes, and dignitary protection. One of my key strengths is the ability to build cohesive, high-performing teams. Through positive leadership and transparent communications, I can oversee large-scale operations and proactively manage change across workgroups. Further, I am accustomed to collaborating with members of intergovernmental bodies, foreign officials, military personnel, and federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies as well as counterintelligence and counterterrorism entities. These alliances serve as a vast network of resources in helping facilitate the collection, analysis, and dissemination of actionable intelligence for public and private sector partners.
