About Becca Gross
Everyone has a story to tell. It’s one of the things that makes nonfiction TV production so rewarding – helping people tell their stories. Relationship stories, journeys of discovery, historical stories, personal growth, a walk down the block, how they chose the house they bought, the funny thing that happened when they were 16, even why they hate that person over there. It’s all valuable and every story deserves to be told. You never know when you’ll learn something!As the years pass, I find myself a little more selective about the stories I want to help tell. To that end, I choose production gigs with more care these days. I want to hear from the people whose stories haven’t been told before, from underrepresented communities and those who’ve been sidelined or ignored. Those who are out here doing the work, uplifting people around them with little to no support because that work is necessary. These are the kinds of projects I’m excited to work on! If you’ve got something like this brewing, please reach out! This curation of my work leaves me with a little more time on my hands than usual, so I’m also working on a career pivot. I\'m looking at options like recruiting, event planning, and communications teams - all things that align with my values and my skill set, and will allow me to continue telling stories, and helping others tell theirs. Career pivots don’t happen overnight, so I’m keeping open to the possibilities. TV, podcasts, digital, documentaries, and more are all of interest to me, as are pivot opportunities.
