French Tutor. Online, Nationwide. All school years taught. My online service has been popular & successful. Unfortunately, far fewer pupils choose to take French as a GCSE; the majority saying they find it too difficult, & it has become harder for the past couple of years to have sufficient students. My main ( & most satisfying) experience has been helping GCSE & iGCSE pupils in Years 9, 10 & 11 to prepare for their GCSE / iGCSE. I also tutor pupils, of all ages, in Ireland, for their Leaving Certificates. Seeing a pupil really advance makes me very proud of their eagerness & hard work. Knowing I helped these pupils to improve also gives me great job satisfaction. My tuition is something I\'m very passionate about. I\'ve helped pupils to achieve GCSE Grades 8 & 9. Pupils who are predicted 8/9 can learn advanced grammar & vocab which they may not be taught in school & which could secure them a 9. I\'m extremely patient. Pupils say they find me very approachable & many have said I\'m a calming influence, making their nerves disappear & boosting their confidence. Pupils have also stated that they like my teaching methods & very clear explanations. I teach the way I learned, having witnessed that, on the whole, pupils haven\'t learned sufficient, basic grammar. Being native English, I instantly know where & why English pupils will be stuck, before they ask me. If a pupil hasn\'t understood something at school, they know they can ask me to elaborate & explain in an extremely clear manner, until they fully understand. I can offer intensive tuition to pupils who may be particularly struggling & /or to those who may start to panic prior to their mock, their GCSE, or their end of year exam. I assist pupils with revision as revising French alone can be most overwhelming for some pupils. I\'ve taught adults who know basic French & wish to improve as, either they take many holidays in France, or have bought a home there, & wish to be a far more confident communicator when in France. I offer a translation service, both from French to English & from English to French. My written French is to a professional, business level. My command of English is also to a high level.
