With 20 years of experience advising on a wide range of upstream energy, mineral, and surface use matters, I thrive on the challenge of working through complex issues to get clients the best solution(s). My expertise includes drilling and division order title opinions, farmout agreements, partnership agreements, work agreements, complex surface use and regulatory issues, and managing titles for great people and companies. As a Senior Attorney at Oliva Gibbs, my practice spans nearly the entirety of Oklahoma, largely focusing on the STACK and SCOOP plays, which have produced some of the most productive wells in state history. I enjoy being involved in my community and am a longtime Big Brothers & Big Sisters volunteer. I also actively support Tenaciously Teal in Oklahoma City – an organization supporting women battling cancer. Currently, I reside in Edmond with my wife and twin daughters.
