I have an extensive background in Leadership, Critical Care, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry. I have in-depth knowledge and skills in ensuring compliance of regulations set forth by Title 22, Joint Commission, DNV, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I am a transformational leader and expert of high quality patient care, customer service, efficiency of operations, daily planning, directing, staffing, teambuilding, mentoring, scheduling, counseling, evaluating employee performance, payroll, and conducting interviews. In addition, I have skills in creating and auditing quality improvement measures. I also facilitate and navigate coaching in these areas in my department, as well as ensure that my staff has the proper understanding and implementation of such methods. In my current and past leadership roles, goals and expectations are established and clearly explained and a high emphasis on the importance of communication is discussed. Nurse leader rounds are performed daily to promote patient safety, increase positive outcomes, improve patient satisfaction, and improve overall HCAHPS scores.
