ABOUT BEATRIZ LIMA CARRANCHO

I am currently part of a multidisciplinary company that focus on industrial upgrading and support for more innovation to facilitate urban development.As a recent Master Architecture graduated, from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, I am deeply interested in taking new challenges and expanding my areas of interest and knowledge. My Master thesis about the rehabilitation of a unique High School building in Lisbon, from the understanding of the design process to how currently the building is inhabited, furthered my curiosity on the building\'s response to contemporary challenges and its relationship with the community, reinforcing the importance of developing sustainable, inclusive and well-thought-built environments.My academic and professional experiences, in Portugal and abroad, allowed me to connect with a wide variety of people and cultures and to develop skills such as responsibility, resilience and problem-solving.
