I lead bioinformatics analyses to investigate complex genetic disorders, leveraging functional genomics and genetic datasets from multi-modal molecular data generated from patients and primary cultures. My expertise includes analyzing large-scale transcriptomic datasets such as bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, and genome-scale CRISPR KO screens to uncover the genetic basis underlying synucleinopathies.During my PhD, I prioritized disease-specific molecular targets for frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) by integrating gene co-expression and protein-protein interaction network analysis. By integrating these computational approaches, I identified candidate targets and experimentally validated their biological functions to advance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying disease. I developed expertise in cell culture, microscopy, and genetic assays involving DNA and RNA manipulation.
