ABOUT BEATRICE DUKER-MENSAH

My work sits at the intersection of circular economy, sustainability, and inclusive innovation, with a strong focus on translating environmental ambition into practical systems that work in real contexts.I hold a Master’s degree in Circular Economy & Sustainable Innovation and have contributed to sustainability and CSR audit-style projects with organizations such as VICAT, Carrier Global, and Stories Evasion, developing skills in impact analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.Beyond academic and analytical work, I am the founder of Trismi, where I have implemented refill and reuse models and led community-based initiatives that have trained 100+ young entrepreneurs. This experience has shaped my understanding of sustainability as both a systems challenge and a human one, particularly in environments where infrastructure and access remain uneven.A core part of my personal work is advancing sustainable female hygiene, advocating for solutions that are health-safe, environmentally responsible, and culturally grounded. Drawing on my background in cosmetic formulation, I focus on product-level sustainability, examining materials, ingredients, health implications, and end-of-life pathways, rather than packaging alone.I am motivated by opportunities that support scaling impact, strengthening leadership, and building durable, inclusive sustainability solutions, particularly across African and global contexts.
