ABOUT BEATRICE BEAUBRUN
As a Program Associate at The Black Futures Lab, I work to transform Black communities into active political forces that shape the future of our society. I manage and coordinate various programs and projects that aim to build Black political power and influence. I also create and implement effective communication strategies to amplify the voices and stories of Black people across different platforms and audiences. I have over four years of experience in the non-profit sector, where I have honed my skills in public relations, media relations, content creation, and project management. I have worked with diverse stakeholders, including community organizations, government agencies, and business leaders, to increase civic engagement and social impact. I have also utilized various tools and applications, such as Google Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Monday.com, and ConstantContact, to streamline processes and improve outcomes. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Organizational and Strategic Communications at Queens University of Charlotte, where I am learning to apply advanced theories and practices to address complex communication challenges in various contexts and domains. I am passionate about helping organizations and small businesses communicate effectively and build strong relationships with their stakeholders. I am always open to new opportunities and challenges that will allow me to grow and contribute as a communications professional. If you are looking for a skilled and experienced communications specialist, please do not hesitate to reach out.
