Folktastic is an educational project aimed at introducing the richness and diversity of Brazilian folklore to the English-speaking world. It is based on a contemporary reading of Brazil\'s traditional mythic characters and their superpowers.The challenge was to introduce the main figures of Brazilian folklore in a new guise and in a language more accessible to English-speaking youth and children. This required an in-depth study of each character, reconfiguring their visual identity with modern markers, and adapting the language to remove overly regional references, ensuring more immediate communication with intended audience.
