About Beat Arnet
During my undergrad, I had two key experiences that shaped my career: working on a student electric vehicle team to build a cutting-edge NiMH battery pack with power management, and interning at a telecom company, writing embedded software for Intel MCS-51 MCUs. These experiences sparked my interest in both embedded coding and electric power conversion, leading me to pursue a PhD in electric drives, combining both fields.Today, I focus on the intersection of embedded software and power electronics, particularly in sustainable technologies. At Plexim, I lead efforts related to generating, testing, and validating embedded code for power electronic systems. I pioneered the PLECS Processor-In-the-Loop (PIL) framework and helped architect the PLECS Coder MCU Target Support Packages.As our team grows, I’m excited to collaborate with new passionate team members.
