Responsible for multiple in-house engineers, 50+ vendors, capital projects, and repair & maintenance programs that align with the clients business needs. Direct facility management staff to deliver service levels within the prescribed budget to the client. Reviews client\'s strategic plans and determines appropriate staffing levels to meet expectations. Reviews capital project and operating budget reports for multiple properties. Creates action plans to improve financial position. Manages negotiations for contract services. Reviews various facilities management reports. Meets with client management team and appropriate departments to discuss, resolve and discrepancies. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Develop and implement innovative programs and processes that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity. Conduct financial/business analysis including preparation of reports. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, Environment and Risk Management policies and procedures that relate to the sites.
