I have been inhabiting a multitude of roles in the PD cell software group, including group leader, technical lead, project leader and product owner. Our group is charged with product development and acts as a technology incubator within the larger organization. Responsibilities include- Architecting and leading development of SW frameworks, algorithms, UI components and entire SW products in C++ and QML - Providing technical guidance, mentoring and leadership to junior developers - Leading and managing a team of software engineers - Managing software development projects - Participating in product planning and business strategy discussions - Driving maintenance and further development of flagship product (OMICRON MPD 800/600); acting as Product Owner - Assisting other product development teams in integrating components from our team into products - Providing consulting and expertise on software technology and partial discharge measurement, both in-house and to customers
