Services include primary care, women\'s health, pediatrics, veterans health, behavioral health, dental, optometry, phamacy and telehealth. In the first 5 months, our team has helped achieve financial sustainability by • Accurately forecasting timing of need for additional cash• Developing a cash disbursement tool to manage cash that incorporates elements of cash forecast• Reducing interest expense 50% by refinancing clinic loan• Enhancing stability of cash flow by securing a new line of credit• Satisfying a forecasted cash shortfall by securing a special grant funding draw• Enhancing Board member engagement through meaningful, transparent financial presentations• Improving patient coding, billing and collections by selecting and onboarding new contractor• In process of improving registration and insurance verificationThe need for sustainability and agility has become critical as our volumes have unexpectedly decreased dramatically the past 3 months due to federal activities that have prevented many patients from seeking care.Our ability to remain open has relied in part to accurate cash forecasting, regimented cash dispursements and optimizing cash flow through reimbursement and cost initiatives.
