ThisIsReno.com has grown since 2009 to become one of the most popular news sites in Northern Nevada based originally on volunteer efforts. In 2015, ThisisReno became a solvent, entrepreneurial journalism business and continues to grow. The site won in 2011 the Judge\'s Choice Award from the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, as well as a Silver Spike Award from the same organization. I develop the site and its content strategy, social media strategy and I help direct the site\'s growth and promotional efforts while overseeing freelance writers, photographers, videographers and content managers.
