ABOUT BENJAMIN CHURCHILL

With over 7 years of experience as a software engineer, I have a passion for creating innovative and scalable solutions that meet the needs of complex and dynamic systems. I currently lead the development team at Myndshft, where I implement new features for our prior authorization platform using Kotlin/Java Spring Boot, Go, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, and Domain Driven Design. I collaborate with the team and product leadership to ensure alignment and quality of our deliverables, and I leverage my expertise in API development, microservices, platform engineering, and cloud-native architecture to optimize performance and efficiency.Previously, I worked as a senior software engineer at Cigna Healthcare and JumpCloud, where I led integration solutions across teams, designed and deployed microservices using various technologies, and enhanced the internal tooling to help product teams deliver faster. I also revitalized a legacy Rails API with Swagger documentation, automated testing with GitHub Actions, and mentored team members, achieving smoother workflows and enhanced collaboration. I hold a KCNA certification, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies. I am looking for opportunities to connect and write some code with other passionate and driven professionals.
