I lead a multi-location team of incredible Recruiters focussed on growing Google\'s Software Engineering presence in Poland. one of our highest priority locations. Managing up to 10 team members during my time in this role, I’m responsible for all aspects of people management from hiring and onboarding through to setting targets / expectations and ongoing career development. Achievements- Led the team to hire 300+ engineers over 2 years sizeably increasing the Cloud organisation in Poland encouraging further investment from new Google product areas- Created and grew my team across 5 countries from scratch whilst keeping a key focus on longer term team strategies and succession planning- Led a multi team restructure to create better working alignment to our business partners whilst also opening up further opportunities for recruiters in terms of progression and next level responsibilities - Lead sponsor for the Growth Strategy Pillar in a 100+ EMEA recruiting org, overseeing a number of meaningful initiatives aimed at increasing the opportunity for ongoing personal and career development of Googlers.
