As a licensed, certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, I am able to combine both the counseling perspective and employment guidance when helping a client find a job. This is one of the most satisfying jobs I\'ve worked.or, is worked the correct word. I\'ve met some very interesting people who\'ve overcome extreme difficulty, and haven\'t given up.they want to learn and contribute by returning to work. What better teacher is there than someone who has first hand experience, and is willing to share that experience. I\'ve witnessed real motivation, pride and tenacity. As my clients move forward with their lives sharing their frustrations and successes, I\'ve experienced modifications and revitalized understanding of disabilities and it\'s impact on growth. My clients are diverse in their beliefs, convictions, knowledge, cultural orientation, live experience, and perspective which has enhanced my ability to see the world differently. In addition, I analyzed need annually and successfully managed at budget of ten\'s of thousands of dollars. I am proud to say I stayed within my budget and had money left over at fiscal year end - and my clients were given the services they needed to find employment.
