Brandon Boyd transformed his personal caregiving experiences into a professional mission, inspired by his love for his grandparents.A Personal Journey to Professional Calling: Brandon, whose prior career was in IT, healthcare support, and project management, felt lost and frustrated while helping his grandparents navigate their own aging process, particularly after his grandfather\'s passing. He managed their finances, provided transportation and home upkeep, and focused on companionship to combat isolation. He realized his family was unaware of the spectrum of senior living options beyond just \"stay at home or go to a nursing home\"; options his grandmother would have enjoyed. He didn\'t want other families to feel that same confusion and stress.Discovering Senior Care Authority: When introduced to franchise ownership, Brandon found Senior Care Authority offered the perfect platform to do good work while earning a living. He was particularly drawn to the brand\'s exclusive Beyond Driving with Dignity (BDD) program, which helps older adults respectfully transition from driving. This program resonated deeply, as his own grandfather experienced significant frustration and spirit-breaking difficulty when he had to give up driving after an accident. Boyd wished his grandfather could have benefited from the BDD program.Honoring a Legacy: Since opening his Central Ohio business, Brandon’s focus is on meeting families face-to-face to provide clarity, compassion, and the right care options; the support he once wished his own family had. He views his business as a tribute to his grandparents, aiming to help loved ones find safe living arrangements where they can enjoy their final years in comfort.Senior Care Authority\'s services include assistance with selecting assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing care, Eldercare Consulting, and the Beyond Driving with Dignity program.
