ABOUT BRANDON BAILEY

NOLAscape is a start-up research company specializing in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Blockchain tech. We believe in socially responsible entrepreneurship and we are currently seeking passionate individuals interested in being involved in a fast-growing, innovative company dedicated to the great city of New Orleans. All experience levels are welcome! As long as you are motivated, willing to learn, and have at least some technical ability, we will teach you all the technical skills you need to succeed. My current research is in stochastic optimal control theory and applications to Financial Technology. I am the chief architect of our High Frequency Trading app capable of making highly accurate predictions at millisecond frequency. Our app learns and adapts to its chaotic environment in realtime to deliver remarkably consistent profitability independent of market conditions. I have expertise coding in many languages including but not limited to Python, Node.js, C++, Java, Go, Solidity, Scala, & C#. I also have extensive DevOps and Agile project management experience including deep knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and GCP). I am a strong proponent of Test Driven Development and have implemented numerous fully automated pipelines from testing all the way to monitoring/analysis. I am open to opportunities from employers that will allow some flexibility to pursue research whether sponsored by the company or independently. Ideally, I would like to join a company that could potentially use my research in new or existing software. I am always thirsty for new knowledge and would bring an eager, highly motivated and dedicated attitude to the organization in addition to excellent written & verbal communication skills that are perfectly suited to client facing positions as well as to training other developers. I am also interested in volunteering with any non-profit in the GNO area that is dedicated to teaching underserved youth STEM skills.
