Alumni Relations Development Careers @Battle Abbey School

In my role as Alumni Relations officer, I am responsible for populating and updating the BAFPA (Battle Abbey Former Pupils\' Association) database, and would like to get in touch with as many of Battle Abbey\'s former pupils and staff as possible; especially those who haven\'t kept in contact with the school since leaving. I organise regular reunions and events, publish BAFPA e-newsletters, and update the various BAFPA social media pages (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.). I am also a member of the Careers Team and help organise networking events, careers talks and Sixth Form Enrichment sessions as part of the School\'s careers programme.The Development Office is a relatively new initiative for Battle Abbey School, and in this role I am involved in coordinating the school\'s fundraising activities; working with FOBAS (Friends of Battle Abbey School) the parents\' association, as well as individuals, charitable trusts and companies to help support educational and extra-curricular projects and activities.
