   Coordinate the McKnight Foundation’s Collaborative Crop Research Programme activities for West Africa; and provide technical support for integrating gender and social dimensions at programme and project level• Conducted a comprehensive gender review on the USAID RISE initiative focusing 5 resilience programmes in the Sahel, and recommended actions for increased and tangible gender results• Led the Agriculture and Gender strategic objective, as a Team member of the final evaluation of a USAID-funded multiyear assistance FASO programme (MYAP)• Worked with diverse stakeholders across organizations, including humanitarian, philanthropic, State, farmers’ organizations and academic institutions• Successfully communicated gender learning to diverse audiences that valued its relevance• Assessed local governance issues & pastoralists’ adaptation strategies to climate change in Burkina • Drafted a five-year regional gender strategy for the United Nations’ World Food Programme’s (WFP) West and Central Africa Region in view of improving food security access to vulnerable demographics • Evaluated annual performance of a smallholder farmers’ agricultural program for WFP-Burkina • Facilitated national & international workshops & trainings on agricultural market access, gender & women’s economic empowerment • Carried out a research on gender roles in poultry & nutrition in Burkina Faso that was featured by Bill Gates in his Blog • Drafted gender-focused analyses & reports, & provided strategic direction on rural livelihoods to The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, WFP, USAID, Christian Children’s Fund-C & McKnight Foundation • Led and supervised teams for field research on gender & agriculture using mixed research methodologies • Reviewed multi-million grant proposals on agriculture, gender, and women’s economic empowerment• Advise Local NGOs on integrating gender in their activities organizations
