I am a filmmaker, audio-visual specialist, and creative professional with over 7+ years of experience working at the intersection of cinema, social development, and community storytelling. My work is deeply rooted in using visual media as a tool for social awareness, cultural preservation, and impact-driven communication.I hold a Master’s degree in Film Studies from Jadavpur University, where my academic foundation strengthened my understanding of film language, visual narratives, documentary practices, and critical media studies. This academic grounding continues to inform my professional approach—combining theory with practice.Professionally, I have worked extensively with national and international organizations, including UNESCO, The Union, Swedish Institute, University of Gothenburg, London School of Tropical Medicine, and STOP TB UNOPS, contributing as a filmmaker, video producer, and media facilitator. My work has focused on public health communication, tribal culture protection, gender empowerment, youth engagement, and community-led storytelling.One of my most meaningful achievements has been training tribal youth—especially women—in filmmaking and camera operations, enabling them to tell their own stories in their native languages, including Santali. From basic camera handling to framing, shot composition, and field production, I have led hands-on training programs that resulted in community-made films with real social impact.I have also served as Creative Director of the Hummingbird International Film Festival 2025, contributing to curatorial vision, creative strategy, and festival storytelling.    Stepping into a key support role at COG India Art Foundation, I work at the intersection of creative storytelling and cultural operations—supporting visual and performing arts initiatives across COG India, Chhobi-o-Ghor Art Gallery, Salankaraa Dance Studio, and emerging umbrella brands.From conceptualising, shooting, and editing visual content to shaping digital presence and brand consistency, my work focuses on telling authentic stories of artists, exhibitions, performances, workshops, and communities. Alongside media and brand development, I contribute to program coordination and on-ground execution, ensuring smooth operations during exhibitions, festivals, and public events, documenting culture, amplifying voices, and supporting art where it comes alive—on stage, on walls, and in people’s lives.
