For more than 10 years, he has been working at the heart of digital product, technology and AI and thus during his time at Bundesliga, he helped the Start Up DFL DIGITAL grow fast - from a people, revenue, earnings, and cash flow perspective. He believes in modern working concepts and is a leader to whom corporate culture is key to build a successful and sustainable high-performance company. However, strategy and objective frameworks such as Objectives & Key Results OKR and organizational development are also very important to him. To transform strategy into action Bastian focuses the teams based on the best culture and leadership a company can provide, on effective and efficient digital target operating models driven by technology and GenAI to achieve excellent operations (Technology, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics BI, Artificial Intelligence AI, KI, RPA, Porcess Mining, Organisational Development, Business Processes, Social and Web APP Operations, Media Production, Broadcast & OTT, Visual Design, Brand, Finance, Legal, HR etc). During the last years he focused the company to move into Cloud and AI with a strong success in adopting these technologies to build new products, product features and optimise processes and workflows focusing on General Artifical Intelligence. Throughout his career, Bastian was always part of High Potential Programs in the companies he worked for. Before joining the Bundesliga, Bastian was a successful strategy and management consultant at PwC helping companies in different industries (media, telcos, telecommunications, newspapers, digital media agencies, manufacturers, agencies) growing their business by optimizing visions, missions, strategy, tactics, reporting, data, and processes. Bastian is a highly regarded speaker and panelist at different summits in the digital ecosystem.
