ABOUT BEN BASTAMI

I am a native Android developer with extensive experience in various Google and Firebase technologies, 3rd party libraries and frameworks. I have maintained and released several business and personal apps to the Google Play store. I have also worked with agile methodologies, am ITIL certified and have completed several Android and Java courses. Specialities:I am an experienced Android developer with a strong background in Object-Oriented Designs and SOLID principles. I have developed apps using different Android design patterns such as MVP and MVVM. I am skilled in communicating design options in a non-technical way with a focus on ease of use and simplicity over complexity. I am proficient in all aspects of software development from brainstorming options with the product owner and UX team, design and development to release using Scrum Agile methodology. I have delivered several projects as a scrum master and lead/sole Android developer. I was also part of a team that designed and structured a new greenfield app for Sky/Comcast. The app was built with clean multi-module architectures.
