Dr. Baskaran, M, PhD in Psychiatric Nursing, is a Professor at PSG College of Nursing, Coimbatore, with 20 years of academic and clinical experience. He has completed nine specializations, over 105 Coursera courses from international universities, and completed 52 modules with eight courses on Research to Publication at BMJ Learning from UK. He has been awarded research grants from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, the Tamil Nadu Nurses Midwives Council, and PSG PRIME Research Grant from PSG Health Science Institutions. His accolades include the AGAR Research Excellence Award (2024), Academic Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to Research Award (2021), and Best Teacher Award (2019). He has participated in an international faculty exchange program in Switzerland (2018). Dr. Baskaran has 51 publications in indexed journals, editorial and reviewer experience for several journals, and has contributed to numerous conferences. His roles also include Inspector for The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Ad hoc Inspector in INC. PhD evaluator, ISO Internal Auditor, AISHE and NIRF Nodal Officer, IIC, and PSG IMSR Human Ethics Committee member.
