I’m part of Project REACH at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a multi‑year rollout of a new hospital information system. I’m the project manager for network infrastructure, biomedical, and lab devices, ensuring the technical foundations and clinical devices work together smoothly to support safe, efficient patient care.What I do-Build and manage project plans for network upgrades and device integration (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VLANs, biomedical and lab equipment)-Lead cross‑functional teams of clinical engineering, lab, IT infrastructure, vendors, and clinical leaders-Identify technical and workflow risks early (connectivity, interoperability, downtime) and drive mitigation plans-Run design sessions and stakeholder meetings to map device workflows and data flows into the HIS-Coordinate testing, cutover, go‑live, and stabilization for networked biomedical and lab devices.
