Collaborate with the commercial team to preserve and access new revenue streams generatedfrom Brookfield\'s renewable energy assets. Responsible for understanding the principles andfunctioning of the energy markets, ancillary markets, and renewable subsidies.2. Write reports and recommendations involving audits, risk assessments and attestations that arerequired to maintain compliance with the performance obligations of state Renewable PortfolioStandard (RPS) programs and Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) registries.3. Support capital investment decisions by conducting economic feasibility studies, and providingguidance on the qualifying conditions of State RPS programs, for various hydroelectric profitimprovement projects such as pneumatic flash boards, intake trashracks, etc.4. Evaluate portfolio risks using Value-at-Risk models, to ascertain the risks of incurring penaltiesand sanctions from entering long-term contracts and propose mitigation strategies throughappropriate pricing mechanisms.5. Develop, implement, and manage software tools such as Application Programming Interfaces(APIs), Alteryx Automation, etc.6. Responsible for registering renewable facilities within registry tracking systems such as NYGATS,WREGIS, MRETS, etc, and develop a sound working knowledge of registry operating rules neededto track revenue generated from these renewable energy plants.7. Manage the development and maintenance of REC databases by tracking, recording, andvalidating the minted certificates with actual generation profiles.8. Develop an understanding of key drivers of Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) pricing andemerging policy issues and conduct research on environmentally enhanced technologies forhydropower.
