ABOUT BASIA STREIFF

Designing user-friendly and accessible products that improve the quality of patient care and clinicians work is my passion and mission as a Lead Designer at Medcase.I collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver an end-to-end solutions that meet user needs and business goals, using Design Thinking, user research, prototyping, and testing methods.I ensure that the design team maintains a close cooperation with the developers, QAs and system architects by making sure that the Design Process is woven into SCRUM.‍ I also share my passion and knowledge of UX/UI design as a Lecturer and Mentor at InfoShare Academy, where I teach the fundamentals of design to bootcamp participants. I enjoy mentoring and empowering aspiring designers and see them grow to their full potential. ‍ I hold a Master\'s degree in Cognitive Psychology and I specialized in Human Computer Interaction. I wrote a Master’s thesis about interactions with a medical chatbot 🤖.I also studied Anthropology of Culture in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences where I developed my qualitative research skills as well as analytical and critical thinking skills.
