ABOUT BASHIRU SHARDOW

People are my passion. Digital is one of the many mediums that allows me to exemplify this. In less than a decade of work, I’ve worn many hats. From compliance to product management and currently, consultancy. Different in practice, but united in mission - to help people achieve their goals. For me, the value of any kind of product, service or strategy is determined by the person who’s going to use it. And as a consequence, needs to not only be created with them in mind, but actually with them. Before the problem comes the goal, and before the goal comes a high degree of empathy. I can’t solve a problem unless I understand the goal. I’m passionate about how digital can be used to connect dots and tell stories that do not seem feasible from the outset. So if digital is the ‘what’, then I am most certainly the ‘why’ When I’m not using digital as a medium, I’m either running, talking to random strangers in the street, taking photos whilst abroad, actually travelling or buying another pair of trainers I don’t need. All whilst looping an album that I’ve recently become obsessed with.
