In my latest role, I am Global Head of FX Options Technology. My teams adopt an Agile DevOps model organised into Pods for an end to end service and delivery. Within each of these Pods, there are diverse roles such as Business Analyst, Developers, Testers, Project managers and Production Support resources. This gives a high level of service to the business with smaller, quicker, less risky deliverables and easier to rollback in case of issues. I have many years’ experience managing teams and combined with my software development background in the banking sector which has provided me with excellent capability to analyse, understand and translate business requirements, this has given the perfect experience and skillset to become a very effective POD manager.I have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills working effectively with business users, technical teams and senior management. I have constantly strived for continual improvement supportively challenging ways-of-working. I have proactively championed and continuously look for ways to improve the model through the application of technology and or process improvements.
