Basak Huner Poirier is a Senior Associate and Lead Designer at Perkins Eastman with more than a decade of experience in architecture, interior design, and urban planning. Her portfolio includes luxury hospitality, commercial mixed-use, and large-scale master planning developments ranging from boutique projects to city-scale master plans. Known for her insightful and human-centered approach, Basak blends creative vision with technical rigor to craft site-specific, brand-aligned designs that create meaningful experiences for users and enduring value for clients and communities. Her work often explores the intersection of hospitality, wellness, and placemaking, with an emphasis on sustainability, cultural context, and long-term impact.She has worked in New York City, Washington, D.C, and Philadelphia, contributing to local projects while also collaborating with teams worldwide in Asia, Europe, and North Africa.
