About Basab Banerjee
Basab brings 40 years of international experience in vocational systems training design and management, in countries spanning Canada to Japan to Australia. After an extensive tenure in the Indian Army, and in major organisations like Reliance Retail, Airtel, and the Asian Development Bank, Basab supported the Government of India’s (GoI) efforts in national skill development: from designing competency frameworks to engagement with industry while at the National Skill Development Cooperation (NSDC)- the apex skilling agency of the Government. Basab also led GoI\'s talent cooperation initiatives with the UK, Germany, Australia, EU and New Zealand between 2010-14. Between 2015 and 2018 - he worked with Asian Development Bank as Advisor Skills, and played an enabler role in setting up State Skill Missions in H.P, Kerala, Meghalaya and Odisha States.At Magic Billion, Basab is responsible for sourcing, mobilising and deploying high quality Indian talent. Using his vast network, Basab has built a huge database of highly qualified candidates open to overseas assignments, and collaborated to build India\'s finest World Class Testing and Training Centre at Kolkata. Basab is based in Delhi.
