About Bart Willems
After receiving my Ph.D. in theoretical astrophysics, I was introduced to High-Performance Computing at Northwestern University during my time as a postdoctoral research assistant. I began working on HPC as a computer system administrator. After my time at Northwestern, I pursued HPC fulltime at Atipa Technologies where I have grown my skills in HPC, Linux, servers, solution architecture and compute clusters. My responsibilities at Atipa include managing our technical team, system design, leading HPC system deployments, post-deployment account management and support, and technical sales. Specialties: High-performance computing, system administration, various linux flavors, infiniband, Intel and AMD system architecture
